Fiona Le Brocq
Children's Author
Hi, I’m Fiona,
My life has been a bit of a global puzzle. I was born in Australia and have lived in Kenya, England, and Jersey in the Channel Islands. Today, you can find me based in London, surrounded by my husband, three children, and a wonderful circle of friends who are essentially my extended family.
For as long as I can remember, children’s books have been my ultimate happy place. Growing up, they were a wonderful source of fun and escapism during tough times, and honestly, not much has changed! I still think there is nothing better than getting lost in a great story.
As an indie author, I write fun, giggly, rhyming picture books. I’m also a primary school teacher and work part time at a truly wonderful school.
When I’m not writing, you can usually find me hanging out with my friends, exercising, getting lost in a good book, or out listening to live music.
I hope you love diving into my stories as much as I have loved writing them! Feel free to explore the site to see my latest books, and thank you so much for visiting.
Tortoise Turns 100
It’s the party of the century, and you’re invited!
This spectacular surprise celebration is packed with crazy collective nouns from our wild world. From a troop of baboons blowing up the balloons to a cauldron of bats in charge of the tunes, everyone has a job to do.
But when a giant sized problem threatens to ruin the fun, the animals must work together to save the day!
