About the Author

Fiona has always loved the music of words. From playground chants to bedtime stories she’s been hooked on the magic that a simple rhyme can weave.

Her debut picture book The Tortoise grew from a tiny idea scribbled in a notebook into a bright and bouncy tale that children can’t help but join in with.

When she isn’t writing she’s often [add a personal touch e.g. walking the family dog, exploring local bookshops, or drinking tea while dreaming up new characters].

This is only the beginning, more rhyming adventures are already taking shape. She hopes her stories will make bedtime a time of giggles, wonder and that warm, sleepy sigh just before the lights go out.
